Perhaps it says something about me, but one of the reasons–not the only one, but not an insignificant one, either–for moving here whence I came was the result of domain envy, pure and simple. My wife’s domain is six letters, sans “.com”. I was jealous. This one’s still longer, but at least it’s not more than twice as long.

Petty, I know. At least it bucks a trend: most spam I see advertises increased length, not decreased. Though I suppose they aren’t talking about domain names.
